Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island

Visitor Information Specialist & Photographer | City of Windsor | May 2023 to Present

Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island (TWEPI) is the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) in Windsor-Essex. The not-for-profit organization promotes local businesses and attractions, hosts and plans events, as well as creates marketing materials to advertise the region.

Sean works with TWEPI as a Visitor Information Specialist and Photographer. He is an expert in the Windsor Essex area, providing guests with information about the county and creating online articles.

He is also a photographer for the organization, capturing photos of products, landscapes, and events.

In 2024, he has been developing a new county wide art experience. This self guided art tour of Windsor Essex will launch later this year.

In 2023, Sean created the Follow the Flavours food trail - a list of incredible multicultural restaurants across the county, for which he visited, photographed and wrote about the flavours of over 30 restaurants.

Faculty of Law

Communication Assistant | University of Windsor | April 2024 to Present

Sean is the Communications Assistant with the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.

He works closely with the faculty, students, and members of the community to create a variety of media projects.

His most recent project with Windsor Law is a series of short documentary films that focus on social justice in the community, and the effects that justices have had outside the courtroom.

In addition to this project, Sean has also helped with a variety of photography and videography projects.

Media Art Ensemble

Research Assistant | University of Windsor | September 2023 to Present

Sean is a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Windsor.

He works under Dr. Brent Lee in the Media Art Ensemble where he and other students create experimental films to test the relationships between audio and visual elements.

Sean has created a variety of projects with this group. In 2023, he created the film Distance to Empty, an audio visual experience that combines stop motion animation and long exposure photography.

In 2024, Sean is currently developing a new project he calls The Accordion, an experimental film that plays with the viewers perceived narrative expectations.

The Leddy Library

Course Developer | Department of History, University of Windsor | April 2024 to September 2024

Sean was hired as a Course Developer, working with the Leddy Library and the Department of History to produce a series of video modules that educate students about researching in academic libraries.

As the director of this project, Sean’s job was to bring the vision of faculty members to life, and direct, film, and design graphics for five educational videos that explored the intricacies of an academic library.

Association

President | University of Windsor | September 2022 to Present (Volunteer)

Sean is the President of the Communication Student Association at the University of Windsor.

The Communication Student Association (CSA) is an on campus club that supports students studying Communication, Media, and Film, as well as the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production degrees.

Formerly the Vice President during the 2023-2024 academic year, and currently the President, Sean plans events and balances finances, manages the team of over 20 students, and reaches out to sponsors.

In April 2024, he helped plan the CSA’s end of year gala, an event at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts that hosted over 125 students, staff, and Alumni.

Through his work with the CSA, Sean also strives to help his fellow peers. He hosts weekly office hours, through which he helps students with both their academic and professional skills.

Communication

Production Assistant | University of Windsor | May 2023 to April 2024

The Office of Public Affairs & Communication is the department at the University of Windsor that handles all Public Relations, Advertisement, and Media Production.

As a Production Assistant, he works in a variety of sections including: photography, picture/video editing, and camera operation.

Sean has had many projects, including the Spring and Fall Convocations, the latter of which, he was the lead camera operator. He has been the photographer and editor for a variety of events at the university.

Lancers
Recover

Media Coordinator & Events Planner | University of Windsor | January 2023 to April 2024

Lancers Recover is a service on the University of Windsor campus that supports students facing substance use issues and behavioural addictions.

Sean was the Media Coordinator & Events Planner for the program. One of his main projects with this group was a short documentary film about students on campus facing substance use issues.

In addition to this project, Sean also planned and hosted a variety of events, with his biggest one being the Student Recovery Services Fair - an event in the CAW Student Centre that brought together recovery supporting groups on campus and in the community to provide students facing addiction with resources.

Broadcast Director & Camera Operator | University of Windsor | August 2023 to Present

Sean is a director, camera operator, and technician for the Lancers Sports Webcast team. He assists in the broadcast of University of Windsor sporting events, including Soccer, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Hockey.

Green Shield Canada

Contact Centre Services Agent | May to September 2022

During the 2022 Summer, Sean worked as a Contact Centre Services Agent at the insurance carrier, Green Shield Canada. This role saw him responsible for answering inquiries regarding, as well as adjudicating insurance claims.
